This Manual was prepared by Turkish lawyers and legal experts under the auspices of the local Development Organization ( LDO ) and International Bridges to Justice ( IBJ ) and funded by the European Union ( EU ) in three languages (Arabic, Turkish and English). The Manual contains explanations about the Turkish law and its branches, the penal judiciary, and the historical development of the criminal justice system, courts and organs.It addresses key legal issues facing Syrian refugees to raise awareness and knowledge on legal issues facing refugees in Türkiye and to strengthen the capacity of refugee advocates.
