Aiming to develop agricultural knowledge and skills of engineers and farmers in order to enhance food security in Syria, Local Development Organization (LDO) has produced five simple agricultural guideline Manuals for producing some agricultural crops in Syria (Tomato, Pepper, Eggplant, Cucumber and Potato). The project has been conducted in about three and a half months, starting on March 15th 2020 and in cooperation with many agricultural experts and specialists via focused workshops including agricultural employees and specialists as well as the supervision of academicians and researchers. Each manual contains detailed information about each crop including agricultural methods, treatment of agricultural pests, nutritional value, harvesting, value chain, storage, marketing and its agricultural economy.
